The client, on the advice of their marketing contractor, had decided to drop mohawkpaper.com and rebrand as mohawkconnects.com. I protested this because they were dropping their most important keyword from their old, well established domain and using a relatively new domain. I was added to the project too late for them to change their plans and they went ahead with the new domain anyway.
No work had been done on the account so I spent the better part of a month providing more hours than they had paid for to produce deliverables to optimize their site. The client was pleased with the final results.
